"The first airport chapel was established in 1950 in Boston at Logan International Airport by the late Cardinal Cushing. Shortly afterward, in 1951, a chapel was opened in New York at Idlewild Airport, now called John F. Kennedy International Airport. From these humble beginnings arose 65 airport chapels in 30 nations."(1)

This is a list of airport chapels with a specifically Catholic presence ranging from a space reserved for prayer to chapels with Catholic Mass and even Confession and Eucharistic Adoration. If you know of or encounter an airport meeting the qualification of having a Catholic "space" or "event" please let us know and we will include it here. Please let us know of any errors. COLORADO
 Denver > Denver International Airport (DEN)
Jeppesen Terminal, Level 6 East. Chapel open 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Mass held on Sundays at 1 p.m. and additional Catholic Masses held for: Holy Days of Obligation: The Feast of Mary, Ascension Thursday, Assumption of Mary, All Saints’ Day, The Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Christmas Day and Ash Wednesday.

FLORIDA
 Orlando > Orlando Internaional Airport (MCO)
Behind security for Gates 1 – 59, always open. Mass 8:15 a.m. and 12 noon. Mass Lobby of the Hyatt Regency Airport Hotel, Sunday.

Tampa > Tampa International Airport
Main transfer level (3^rd Floor) adjacent to airside F. Open 24 hrs. No services.

GEORGIA
 Atlanta > Hartsfield International Airport (ATL)
Domestic Terminal: In the Atrium, 3rd floor (pre-security), M-F 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Internatinal Concourse "F" (inside secuity), always open, Communion Service Friday 11:30, Mass Sunday 4:30.

ILLINOIS
 Chicago > Midway (MDW)
On the Mezzanine Level on Concourse C, inside security checkpoint, above the triangle food court. Saturday and Vigil Mass Mass for Holydays 4:00 p.m. Sunday 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Monday to Friday 11:30 a.m.

Chicago > O'Hare International Airport (ORD)
Located on the Mezzanine Level of Terminal 2 above the JetBlue ticket counters and next to the USO (on the NON-Security side).
Mass: M-F 11:30 a.m.       Sa: 4:00 & 6:00 p.m.       Su: 9:00 & 11:00 a.m.
Confessions 10 minutes before all Masses. (1/3/24)

INDIANA
 Indianapolis > Indianapolis International Airport (IND)

MASSACHUSETTS
 Boston > Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)
Our Lady of the Airways Chapel, between terminals B & C (walkway), ground level. Open 7:30-9:00 p.m.

MINNESOTA
 Minneapolis-St. Paul > Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP)(*)
Inside secure area on Mezzanine Level, overlooking main shopping/dining area.
Take stairs/elevator near Chili’s Too and Northwest World Club at entrance to Concourse F, up one floor, take a left, go through glass door and enter on the right. No services.

MISSOURI
 St. Louis > Lambert-St. Louis International (STL)
Two chapels, Terminal 1, Baggage Claim Level at Exit 14 AND Terminal 2, near Gate 33. Mass: Saturdays & Eve of Holy Days 4:30 p.m. ; Communion service: Sundays, 10:00 a.m.; Communion service: Monday thru Friday: 12 noon;
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament daily 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon.

NEW JERSEY
 Newark > Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
Air-side corridor between C2 & C3 Concourses Terminal C. Chapel hours 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mass Sunday, Wednesday and Holy Days, 10:30 a.m.

NEW YORK
 New York City > Kennedy International (JFK)
Our Lady of the Skies Chapel. Masses:

Meeting room 3780 3rd floor of Terminal B used for worship. Mass Sunday 2:00 p.m.

NORTH CAROLINA
 Charlotte > Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT)
Chapel is located in the Main Terminal. To reach the Chapel go through Airport Security on the upper (ticketing) level of the terminal. Once through Security, head to the main Atrium (Food Court Area). From there, take the set of stairs up to the 3^rd floor (elevator access available). At the top of the stairs, head to the hallway to the left (away from the USO) and the Airport Chapel will be the first room on the right. Sunday Mass at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in the Auditorium (chapel is too small).

PENNSYLVANIA
 Pittsburgh > Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT)
Chapel located at the Airside Mezzanine. Chapel hours 6:00 a.m thru 9:00 p.m. Mass Monday thru Friday 9:45 a.m. Sunday 10:00 a.m.

SOUTH CAROLINA
 Charleston > PCharleston International Aiprort (CHS)(*)
Main terminal, 1st floor. No services.

WASHINGTON, D.C.
 Dulles International (IAD)
Chapel is located in the middle of Concourse A near Gate A31, next to the clubhouse for Virgin Atlantic Airlines, post-securuty. Mass Saturday 5:45 p.m.

Ronald Reagan Washigton National (DCA)
At the south end of Terminal 2 across from the Gates B10-B22, directly behind Dunkin' Donuts. Sunday Mass 12 noon.

WISCONSIN
 Milwaukee > Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE)(*)
Third Floor, adjacent to 3N Walkway. Open 24/7. No services.
