Terence (Terry) R. Garrity is a 66 year-old Indiana native. He is retired former owner former owner of Indiana Rubber & Plastics, a technical support and parts supply business.
Terry holds a Commercial, Instrument, Multi-Engine Land rating and has 3500 hours of flight time. He was a CFII-advanced and an Assistant Chief Flight Instructor (Part 141) and Part 135 pilot with Indianapolis Aviation from 1978-1982.
Terry is a member of the Experimental Aviation Association (EAA), the Aircraft Owner’s and Pilot’s Association (AOPA), an associate member National Association of Priest Pilots, a First Degree Knight of Columbus and a Board Member of the Catholic Aviation Association.
Married since 1982 to Susan Garrity, they have two children, Daniel and Katherine. Katherine passed away in January, 2022 from pancreatic cancer. Son Daniel resides in Montana. Susan holds a Masters Degree in nursing and is a retired nurse practitioner in palliative care for Ascension St. Vincent Health, Indianapolis, IN.
Terry is former Director of Evangelization for St. Athanasius the Great Byzantine Catholic Church, (Indianapolis), and he and Susan are presently members of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Cicero, Indiana.
